Somehow almonds currently on everyone’s lips. Is it Christmas already? Nope, we are just before the summer solstice, so away with the thought of other seasons. Because it is summer and in the summertime I have lunch in the office even more fancy fresh fruit, vegetables and green salads but sometimes I’m not really full. Then, when I feel that I need something more to CHEW, then I take almonds. Not in addition to or as a „snack“, but as the healthy and lick Plus to my serving. For me there is anyway only 3 times a day every 5 hours a calorie intake that I have maintained since my SiS phase so. If you eat balanced meals and eat with well fed, there comes no „cravings“.
Almonds make fun – perhaps the antioxidants contained in it, maybe the protein, perhaps the E-vitamins, magnesium or calcium act? Maybe it is the good influence on bone density? I have certainly always some in stock, sometimes from the discount, sometimes in organic quality and i have the best experience with these:
They are not too hard, not too small and it’s never a „soapy“ in.
When these vegan wave also came to me, I be pressured me, and bought ready-almond milk, although the Internet is full of DIY recipes. Once and never again! Because I would have also able to resolve a white crayon in sugar water content: almonds of uncertain origin, water and sugar. Doesn’t need the / my world!
Almond milk is another way for me! I give sweet almonds in a glass that I fill with milk, let it about 30 min on the desk and enjoy it then. I always fish the almonds out with a spoon and take between a sip of milk.
For my morning „Körnerbrei“ (like porridge) I soft a few (7-10) almonds at the eve in water – then I do not cook them.
I am otherwise on almond products – and especially on almond flavor. In the Morning after the shower I take almond oil for my legs. At the Basin area is almond soap and also my rarely used fabric softener has this subtle fragrance. I already know that this delicate flavor is just art and wonder and that have nothing to do with almonds, but likes him anyway!
When I accompanied my friend in Paris with her normal household goods shopping in a French Supermakrt, I suddenly stood grinning in front of the detergent shelf: There are Persil to my taste – so with almond flavor! Powdery, liquid, Tabse and as small soft ones. I shopped again by the enticing product range and put a considerable stock for me. now it currently go to an end, so I need to Paris to purchase detergent, maybe I look sometimes by the local almond offer – true to my motto: „It’s still better,“ place is certainly something … yes it is these super product from the Provence, the annual production is currently being acquired by a single baker – how mean! Maybe I can dye my thumb green and cultivate an almond tree offshoot? In any case I will be traveling this year to Avignon and try to get to the bottom of the thing!
Finally my INSTA photo from yesterday about clothes because my „new“ bike gloves are to see. From the Flea market, * schnippschnapp * peaks from – this is even a topic for DIY Christiane Schauch and Radblog. So not the creativity to remove the fingerpeaks with scissors, especially the bicycle inner tube in this experiment …
